Behind the Scenes in the AITE Robotics Workshop

Created a promotional video for the AITE Robotics team to drive membership and support their fund raising efforts. Team 3104 is the FIRST robotics team at the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering (AITE) in Stamford, CT.

As part of the international First Robotics Competition (FRC, www.usfirst.org ), these talented high school students build one robot each year to complete a specific set of tasks. Adding to the pressure, they’re only given six weeks to complete the build. The tasks change dramatically each year but the students rise to the challenge and have been competing successfully since 2011.

Last year’s competition, called Recycle Rush, required their robot to stack crates and place a garbage can on top of the stack. Other challenges included robots which throw frisbees through distant targets and robots which load and throw giant balls over a tall truss. It was great fun working with the AITE Robotics team on this video and we look forward to working with them this coming season.
